How secret chat works
How secret chat works on Secret-chat.co.uk is deliberately plain. You create a free profile, pick an anonymous username, browse members by region or age, and send a private message on secret chat without a street. There is no public wall. There is no requirement to unmask. The secret is the closed thread, not a plot twist waiting off-site.
Step by step: how secret chat works once you have a username
Write a short bio about mood, not admin. Search, read, message like a human. If a conversation is worth returning to, save the profile so you can see when they are online. If it is not, leave without a speech. Block identity fishing. Report anyone who asks for money or paid services.
- Free profile and browse. Look before you write.
- Hidden email. Other members see the username you chose.
- Private messages only. No crowd, no feed.
- Any device. Phone, tablet or desktop, same inbox.
What the machine will not do
How secret chat works does not include cameras as a feature, introductions with a price, or a promise that a username will still be writing next month. Profiles that offer or ask for payment are removed. If someone says the secret would be more convincing on another app, that is usually a request for your number. Decline.
Habits that keep the simple tools secret
Mute previews. Log out on shared machines. Personal openers. Thin bios. Come back when you have an hour, not when you are angry at the universe. The features are ready; the leak, if there is one, is almost always a human shortcut. Favourites live on the site so you are not tempted to store a list in a notes app under your own name.
Chat only, no paid services
Secret-chat.co.uk is a chat site for adults who want to flirt and share fantasies online. We don't arrange paid sexual services, and profiles that offer or ask for them are removed.

Choose a name that cannot find you
Avoid birthdays, teams, job titles and the nickname your friends already use. Write the profile about mood and curiosity, not about your week. Then you can be honest in the messages without handing anyone a map.
How to get started
- Create a free profile with an anonymous username.
- Say what you like so the right members can find you.
- Browse members who are online right now.
- Send a personal message and let the conversation build.
Discreet and safe
Every conversation on Secret-chat.co.uk is private between two members. You chat under a username, your email address is never shown and messages stay on the site, so you never have to give out your phone number. Don't share your full name, address or workplace, and never send money to anyone you chat with. The site is for adults aged 18 and over only.
